To most people I just look like a mom with a camera and when it comes right down to it, I am! My husband surprised me last September of 2008 with my first DSLR and I have rarely been seen without it since. I have a twelve year old son and 5 & 2 year old daughters who are the reason I love what I do. I take their every day moments of life and turn them into art.
My life has changed a lot since finding my passion for photography. I have met amazing people and made friendships that will last forever.
It has been hours of hard work to develop my own unique style and stay true to it. I love color, lots of bold and bright color. Every once in a while I love to mix things up and do the opposite with muted tones and colors. I love variety so I never get bored with my photos! The eyes are always my focus and I love to capture an expression through them. There is nothing I haven't tried shooting but my favs are weddings and kids. Weddings because of the high energy and love I feel and kids because of the equally high energy and attitude I get!
As I look back through the photographs of my life, I see many things that make me smile, and others that bring tears to my eyes. I see moments in my life that brought me to where I am today and I understand why I am the person I have become. I would love to become a part of the photographs of your life and help make your life look good.
